A pamphlet outlining the League for Independent Political Action's (LIPA) political blueprint, which sought to provide an alternative to "the individualistic capitalism of the pre-depression era; the controlled capitalism of President Roosevelt; and the collective capitalism of Fascism" (p. 4). Founded in 1928, the LIPA was chaired by John Dewey and included many prominent liberals and socialists. Stapled wrappers (8 ½" x 5 ½"), 19 p., two illustrations showing the American worker and the American farmer by Charles Pollock. Light edge wear.
