Altkolorierte Lithographie 21 x 31,5 cm Bildgröße, 22,5 x 33,5 cm Blattgröße. Die Lithographie locker auf dunklem Karton aufliegend, darunter aufgeklebt der ausgeschnittene Bildtitel. Unter dem Bild der Verweis auf den Verlag und die Angabe No. 5. - Dargestellt sind französische Soldaten im Kampf gegen die Mamluken. Im Hintergrund typische Bauwerke. - Das Blatt vermutlich gearbeitet nach den Darstellungen von Francois Grenier für die Serie Victoires et Conquetes 1789 - 1815, veröffentlicht um 1820. Die Brüder Mathias und Joseph Trentsensky, (Thieme-Becker 33,379), Lithographen und Verleger in Wien, haben um 1830 gemeinsam mit Vieweg firmiert. - Das Papier fest und frisch. Sehr schöne, lebendige Darstellung in prachtvollem Altkolorit.
