This American author and editor, also an art and rare book dealer of note, penned a wide variety of books ranging from "The Hudson & Other Poems" (1909) and "Benjamin N. Cardozo: American Judge" (1940) to the novels "Peacock's Feather" (1946) and "Pagan Love" (1920). ANS, heavy stock 5½" X 3¼" imprinted postal card, Mnosey, NY, 1940 July 30. Addressed to Arnold F. Gates (1914-93, noted Lincoln and Civil War scholar). Fine. Gracious note to an admirer, telling him about "my latest writings, my biography: 'Benjamin N. Cardozo, American Judge. recently published. Very probably you would enjoy reading the life of this great new fine man.".
