Add to basketCondition: VG. First Edition. First Edition. 8vo; Publisher's navy blue cloth boards with orange stamped lettering. Six pages of publisher's ads at rear. First State, p.49 has "Purdy" and "my" where subsequent states have "Lyte" and "any"; [vi], 401, [6]pp. Boards have the mildest of wear to the margins, and a scuff on rear board, as well as some light discoloration. Some foxing on preliminary pages, interior is otherwise clean. At gutter of half-title the binding is exposed, but otherwise the book is well intact and generally sturdy. Therefore, I have not accounted for the potential provenance in valuing the book. Even so, my hunch remains, if only as a bit of interesting possible history for this volume. [Pastore 8] .…
