Presentation copy…from the library of the Swedish composer Kurt Attenberg, but it?s uncertain if the binding is made by Attenberg or by Breitkopf & Härtel. Kurt Attenberg (1887-1974) wrote symphonies and operas and he held an important and powerful role in the music life of Sweden during the 1940s. His reputation was damaged however, after the second world war because of his close relation to the composers and music world in Nazi Germany. Hardcover / Hardback.
