Marseilles set romance and crime novel (with stills of characters in a courtroom and prison) of an American seaman 'conqueror of the fair sex, who for once finds he is up against his equal in 'The Bad One';' a very scarce photoplay title. Near Fine in Very Good dust jacket, shallow chipping at spine ends and flap corners, quarter-sized chip at lower spine end, one inch closed tear at lower rear panel, slight darkening to spine, edgewear, previous owner's signature at front facing end paper.

A few tiny specks of insect entrance evidence on front of the jacket, their industry mostly diminished soon after entry into the front cover and endpapers. A couple of very small patches of the jacket also missing. The large rear panel is filled with advertisements for similar books. There are full page relief prints in colors for each letter.
