Engraving 12.5 x 16 cm, a few spots affecting the image and edges a little rough, but a dark impression in good condition. The sack of Baghdad by the Mongol Empire in 1258, originally included in Olfert Dapper's encyclopaedic study of the Middle East here re-engraved for the German edition of 1681 published by Jacob van Meurs.
