. Illustrateur : LAMBERT (André). (illustrator). Dédiés aux Amoureux craintifs. Eau-forte en couleur titrée, numérotée et justifiée 3/100, (1919), 40 x 26 cm. André LAMBERT (1887-1967) est un peintre et illustrateur suisse, fils d'un architecte, il s'est beaucoup consacré à l'illustration d'ouvrages sur la mythologie antique, mais aussi érotiques. Il commença sa formation artistique en Allemagne, à Munich. Entre 1907 et 1909 il collabora à la revue Simplicissimus, puis à Paris où il devient l'élève de CORMON. En 1919, il fonda la revue luxueuse Janus qui avait la particularité d'être exclusivement en langue latine. Il s'installe ensuite en Espagne où il résida à partir de 1920. Son travail de graveur est remarquable et ces sujets galants sont sa marque. Piqures et oxydations. Oeuvre originale.
