The front free endpaper has the name of the original owner along with a date, his College and a reference number - this was Jimmy Altham, a Life Fellow of Gonville & Caius College, and a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. The pages are browned but otherwise unmarked. The jacket has light chipping to the top and bottom of the spine and at the top left corner of the front panel.
