Cloth. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Quarter cream cloth over green cloth boards, printed silver title label on front board, (12.5 x 9.5 inches). First Edition. 95 pages; illustrated with plans, drawings and color architectural renderings. Exceptional art deco interior design reference on bathroom styling, arguably one of the most beautiful references of the period. This book documents the results of a design competition which took place in 1930 and presents close to 40 differents designs, many rendered in full colour. The first 20 projects are covered with a drawing and floor plan while the last 15 show only floor plans - a couple designs show mural details. Exterior shows some expected light wear and rubbing, heaviest at extremities and label, internally clean. A desirable, collectable copy of an exceedingly SCARCE title.

Cloth. Condition: Very Good +. First Edition. The uncommon 1931 1st (and almost certainly only) edition of this competition in bathroom design, sponsored by the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company. Solid and VG+ in its duotone cloth, with Deco silver title label affixed to the front panel. Mild streaking to the panels, the interior clean as could be, with the 20 lovely color plates along the versos bright and vibrant. Tall quarto, an elegant look at early '30s interior design (even --or perhaps especially-- in bathrooms).
