Original vintage Russian sci-fi movie poster for the film Nebo Zovyot (Battle Beyond the Sun), about a space race to be the first to land on Mars - a science fiction thriller directed by Mikhail Karzhukov and Aleksandr Kozyr, starring Ivan Pereverzev, Aleksandr Shvorin, K Bartashevich, Larisa Borisenko and Viktor Dobrovolsky. Gr…eat image of three cosmonauts wearing spacesuits in front a large red planet with their rocket in the foreground. (For the American release in 1962, Roger Corman had Francis Ford Coppola re-cut the movie to add new footage and give the Russian characters American names to disguise the fact that it was a Russian movie.)
