Written by Joseph Hilaire Pierre Belloc, a Franco-English writer and historian, credited as an orator, poet, sailor, satirist, writer of letters, soldier, and political activist. Illustrated by Lord Ian B.G.T. Blackwood, an English peer and artist. In the original paper covered boards. Externally, sound with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Chipping to the spine resulting in loss to the head and tail with the paper detached from the front joint. Light sunning and marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound.
