Very clean burgundy cloth boards with stamped leafy texture decoration over all, bright gilt lettering on spine. No bumping or wear, but 1/4" or less tiny closed tear at center base of spine. Binding is tight & square, no cracking. Pages and edges are clean and bright. INSCRIBED presentation copy: "To Don: Holiday greeting with pleasant recollections of your many courtesies to my family and to me" - J. F. Devine - Jan. 1934". 66 illustrations (photographs) and 7 maps. 336 pgs.
