The first edition thus reproducing twenty-five designs from the an illustrated edition of Mr. Mackail's 'Biblia Innocentium,' which was to have been produced by the Kelmscott Press. Narrating the biblical story of the origins of the world. An uncommon volume. Illustrated in text. No half titles as called for. In the original publisher's linen backed paper covered boards. Externally with some shelf wear and minor damp markings to the front board and spine, a stain mark to the rear board. With a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Internally, the front hinges are slightly strained to the title page, holding firm. The volume firmly bound. The pages are generally very clean throughout with minor handling marks to the occasional leaf. Good. book.
