Clean, no marks, Possibly Signed First Edition, 1957, from a central Florida bookstore. As shown, dust jacket has extensive wear along edges, corners, and spine, but book comes with a protective Mylar cover to prevent any future wear. Patterned blue cloth cover is clean with some wear, and has red and white lettering spine. Corners are sharp. A pencilled inscription signed by the letter, "B", cannot be confirmed as that of the author. No marked, creased, or torn pages. A good copy with stated cosmetic flaws. A large impressionistic tree with blue leaves covers the background. Off to the left is a dog standing on his hind legs next to a large fountain, and off to the right is an awning with several men sitting under the canopy at a table while chatting. And in the middle of the painting is a large sail boat. An absolutely charming scene, immense with detail and vibrancy.
