Hardcover. Condition: g. Stated First Edition. Octavo. xv,373pp. Dark blue cloth with gold lettering on spine in original printed dust jacket. "This book is an attack upon the claims made for the objective validity of conscience as a means of determining good and evil. It maintains, however, that conscience can truly claim that it offers personal integration of a sort, and an interesting show to such as will contemplate it aesthetically rather than act impetuously upon its prompting." Minor age wear, creasing and staining on binding. Sunning, creasing and chipping on dj, parts of dj repaired with tape. Hinges slightly starting. Dust jacket in fair, binding in good+, interior in near fine condition. Scarce in dj.
