Scarce pictorial Bible exquisitely illustrated with 825 in-text illustrations depicting not only biblical scenes, but also animals and plants of the Bible. With numerous notes by John Kitto, the renown English biblical scholar of Cornish descent. Upper corners of first volume bumped, thus slightly affecting pages throughout. Previous owner's bookplate on inside of front cover of first volume. One page of the list of illustrations to first volume misbound, and placed in second volume. Moderate creasing along fore-edge of very first pages of first volume. Binding and interior in overall good+ condition.
