Book is in better condition than most examples of this age. Neat, clean, well bound pages with very minimal foxing, tanning and thumbing. Small inscriptions and neat labels may be present. Paper cover has mild edge wear with light rubbing and creasing. Some light marking and tanning.

Boards have slight wear including faint age toning, sparse tiny marks and light bumping to the corners. Small chip to the rear tail edge and mild cocking to the spine. Text block has slight wear including faint age toning to the edges, sparse foxing to few pages and minor soiling. Pictorial end papers. Illustrated. Inscribed by the Illustrator, Gustaf Tenggren, to verso to the front end paper. NOTE: Shelved in Netdesk office, Case #1. 1394993. FP New Rockville Stock.
