The book does not lay perfectly flat as there is a slight vertical wave to it. "The jewels of Braque, which are the last works created by one of the purest geniuses of French Art, were exhibited at the Louvre Museum under the auspices of Andre Malraux, Minister of Cultural Affairs. In this way he expressed his admiration for these unique specimens which he rightly called 'the final metamorphosis' of Georges Braque". Art of Georges Braque. Contributors include S.E.
