16mo., 15.5cm, 111 &112pp., double page map on Cork, text illus., WANTING the folding map, oringal green cloth, gilt spine and cover titles, cover in gilt decorated oval frame borders, very good plus (gc.ds). The second part, being 112 pages, are advertisement, on stock paper, many illustrated. Entitled: Black's Guide Book Advertiser, 1877.

Small 8vo, pp. 111 + 32 pages of adv. Bound in flexible green cloth, engraved frontispiece, Large fold-out chart of the lakes of Killarney a very good copy.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. 8vo hardcover volume in green gold embossed cloth binding. In near fine condition with 111 pages a folding map and 48 pages of ads. No foxing to contents. One name in front of a Wisconsin Lumber baron.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Adam and Charles Black were publishers in Edinburgh who began publishing their travel guides in 1839. Their chief competitors were the Baedeker Guides. The Black Tourist Guides were considered more colloquial, and less pretentious. This is a lovely guide to Killarney and the South of Ireland with a map of Cork and a fold-out map of Killarney district. The fold out has breaks along those folds and slight discoloration but no missing bits. All kinds of interesting information inside including the tune from the Eagle's Nest Echo.Very Good Condition: 12mo: green Publisher's cloth with gilt design on front of Black's oval frame with a shamrock inside: name in blue inside front: Frontispiece "Lakes of Killarney": fold out map with splits and some discoloration due to age: map of Cork with the River Lee colored in blue: 72 pages of advertising of a variety of hotels and travel arrangements at the rear: slight discoloration of paper due to age: list of Black's Guide-Books at rear with side pasted to rear lifted from bottom up at outside corner: "Black's Guide to Killarney and the South of Ireland with Chart of Killarney District and Plan of Cork": Edinburgh: Adam and Charles Black: 1872.

Foxing on page edges and foldout map, map a little creased. A good clean copy.
