Pre-tour rugby brochure, previewing the trip, with player profiles from both side, details of previous tours, records, likely Springboks, itinerary, etc. 8vo. 52pp. 9 full-page illustations, illustrations in the text. Original orange, stiffened paper covers. A very good copy. Uncommon.

Softcover. Condition: Fair. English|Afrikaans text. 124 pages, complete. The wraps are shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked, with tape reinforcing the spine. Despite this, the wraps remain whole and intact. Internally, there is a previous owner's stamp marking on the title page and age-related wear throughout, however the text remains legible and complete. The binding is sound. JK. Souvenir programme for the 1949 All Blacks rugby tour to South Africa. Results of each match recorded neatly in ink to score-card page, with a few further ink marks.
