Thick octavo, [12], 659pp. Gray cloth, title stamped in gilt and silver on the spine. Statement at bottom of copyright page notes "signed first edition of this book has been privately printed by The Franklin Library." Solid text block. In the publisher's gray slipcase, solid binding, light shelf wear to side panels, faint label remnant on side panel. This edition is limited to 250 copies signed by the author, this being number 160. A near fine example. Signed.
