hardcover. Title in red & black. Thick folio, full brown morocco with raised bands, gilt medallion, decorations & dentelles, top edge gilt, by Riviere. London: Pickering, 1844. Fine. Typographic facsimile of the original black letter edition, with ornamental title page & initial letters. A church ex-libris on the end-paper indicates that the book was a gift from J.P. Morgan in 1905. On the fly-leaf opposite is the "ghost" of J.P. Morgan's own bookplate. A magnificently printed, handsome book.
