Condition: Fine. First Edition presumed. From the teenie bopper era, when for the sweet sixteen set, it was all about the boy! Amusing souvenir from a bygone era, when teenagers had proper dates, aspired to go steady, and stereotypically, at least, weren't out to save the planet, end a war, or rebel in any way. N.d., circa 1960. No publisher, no place given. 25 by 20 cm. Nine leaves within, each identical, divided into three parts, each part to record the "man" the woman was dating or had a crush on. With only printing on the rectos, the versos, blank, there is the potential for 27 entries. Each entry has space for a small photograph and to the left, the compiler is asked to fill in his name, his nickname, where she met him, her impressions of him -- "He seems to be", with three lines for her to so describe, and where he lives. Our copy is unused, with no issues or defects. We have no idea how common this log book was. We would imagine that many a user would outgrow it, become embarrassed about it, and thus dispose of it, so we would think there aren't that many floating around or gathering dust. Blond wood for boards. Stab binding. String.
