Presentation copy signed by Grey on fep. to Ernest Windle Compliments of Zane Grey. Windle was the judge in Avalon Santa Catalina Island He started the cities first Newspaper. Grey lived in Avalon Gilt rubbed on spine with nice gilt on cover. Rear hinge pulling Spine cocked Smith was the only woman artist to illustrate two of Greys books. Four illustrations intact. Signed by Author(s).

Octave slate green pictorial cloth stamped in gilt. Spine somewhat dulled, else very good in a good only dust jacket with overall soil and large chips out of the rear panel and upper front panel. This was a notoriously fragile jacket, and any original examples are quite scarce. This copy with a card signed by Grey pasted to the front free endpaper. Scarce. 0. Signed by Author(s).
