Book itself has evidence of the stain on cloth, otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked and apparently never read. Historical novel based on true story of 2 survivors of the Battle of Luzon. Author was teacher at Baptist Bible Seminary, Manila. Modern first; World War II.
