Add to basketUncoloured; fine condition. The precise attribution of this 'modern' map of the Biitish Isles, set in a page of text, is vague, it is often given as the work of Giovanni Magini, others say Girolamo Porro. It follows loosely the outline of the Mercator - Ortelius representations, but with a stunted outline for Scotland. Although it first appearred in 1596, this example probably came from the Italian work 'Studium Sapientiae Universale published in 1657.
