In the publisher's original red cloth binding, with the original, unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent, with light fading to the extremities and the odd mark. Light bumping to the extremities. Spotting to the fore edge and to the endpapers. Dust wrapper is also excellent, with light edge wear and a tear to the head of the rear joint. Sunning to the spine and extremities of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with scattered spots, plates remaining clean. Very Good Indeed. book.

1st Edn,. vii+102 pages, 4to, TEG pages uncut, 51 colour plates from water colours by the author with descriptive notes, limited to 50 copies signed by Arnold of which 45 are for sale, this being No 20. bound in 1/4 vellum, ice blue cloth boards, gilt wader vignette to the upper board. 2cm bruise to upper spine edge on the upper cover causing crack in vellum neatly repaired, o/w binding and vellum clean, although a book of natural history of waders, Arnold a keen shot notes many wildfowlers observations on waders being shot or seen. Much being on the Cley marshes of Norfolk.
