Soft cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Beyond the broken cardboard front cover (which is heavily cracked and has been taped back together again; see photo), the lower spine missing 1.5 inches, and the title page being all but detached (holding on by the last few inches), this is a solid copy with notable edge wear on the first few leaves. Otherwise, it is unmarked within the text. The transparent leaf titled, "Estimated Effective Ground Conductivity in the United States" is included but detached, folded top to bottom in three places, and chipped here and there along the bottom, not affecting the map nor any text. Interestingly, this page is marked, "February 1954" though the title page reads, "First Edition/First Printing/October 1959." (?!) Apparently, the book has one leaf for every 10kc from 540 to 1600. Overall, a good, solid, usable copy of this extremely rare tome. (23" x 17.75").
