Card Covers. First Edition, First Printing. Unpaginated [pp. 20]. 4to., measuring 8.25" x 10.75". Pictorial, twice-stapled, card covers bearing a black-and-white aerial image of the town to the centre of the front cover. Remarkable pictorial history, and directory of the rural Saskatchewan town. Comprises of four pages of pictorial history of the town featuring images from its past (agricultural scenes, prominent landmarks, community events, etc.), and sixteen leaves of portraits, and family portraits of the individuals, and families residing in the town. Amongst the pictorial directory is the notable presence of the Dr. L. Basu (a doctor of presumably Indian extraction), the Kai Fai Lim family (presumably of Chinese extraction), and the Gill family (of Sikh extraction). Not found at the University of Saskatchewan, Peel, BAC/LAC, FHL. Rare and remarkable local history with no records located in OCLC. Light rubbing and neat ink name to upper-right margin of the front cover, contents without blemish; very good+.
