This copy isd clean and fresh throughout the text. 303pp. This was the author's third book. It was made into a Hollywood film in 1945 starring Burt Lancaster and Jean Peters. Paul Wellman (1895-1966) was an American journalist, history and novel writer, known for his books of the Wild West, Kansas and Oklahoma, the Great Plains.
