A piece by the Progressive Labor Party, a party formed after a split with the Communist Party USA, adhering to Chinese doctrine until the early 1970s. This collects several speeches by Milt Rosen, addressing the need to build a revolutionary base within working class people in the United States, outlining ways to do so. GOOD condition. Uneven browning and toning to the wrappers, with minor soiling, wrinkling and creasing. A few small stains to the rear cover.

The PLP was formed in January 1962 as a result of a split in the Communist Party, USA (CPUSA), under the name of Progressive Labor Movement PLM, led by Milton "Milt" Rosen. In 1965, the name of PLP was adopted and the Party followed the political line of the Communist Party of China CPC. In 1971, it broke with the CPC and began to shape its activity around the fight against racism.
