Hard cover. Condition: Good. No jacket. The cover is shelf worn and slightly rubbed with the corner edges being bumped. The tops and bottom edges of the spine are bumped. Binding is tight. Bookplate glued onto the inside front cover with some pages throughout the book being slightly foxed, otherwise all other pages are clean and unmarked.

Pages 4-9 has some staining along the margins (looks like someone was tracing with watercolors?). Not as bad as it sounds. The dj is now protected in a mylar sleeve.

This copy is NEAR FINE in a VG, unclipped ($2.00) DJ. Illustrated by Dorothy P. Lathrop. Exterior has very minimal signs of wear near edges. Bright and colorful. Inside has neat PO signature to FEP. Otherwise unmarked, crisp, and tight. FEP and BEP both creased down the middle. DJ has 1/2" chip at spine bottom and modest/moderate other edge wear. Still, very vice.
