Condition: Good. Aquatints and soft ground etchings. Mostly 2 printed on pages, each 37.7 cx 28.5cm. Trees, landscapes, domestic animals, village scenes. One signed and 3 titled.British Museum: Topographical painter, etcher and watercolourist, based in St. Gall and Herisau. Probably taught by Aberli and Wolf, worked for them as a colourist, worked also in Genf for Bacler d'Albe, since 1784 based in Bern. Travelled Switzerland and published landscapes together with D. Lafon and K.L. Zehener. Settled in Herisau 1797, after French invasion in Neuenburg,? Huit planches à double page gravées à la manière du lavis, comprenant chacune deux ou plusieurs sujets.
