The signatures include Hardwicke (inscribed to Mary as "Julius Caesar"); Lilli Palmer, who played Cleopatra, and Ralph Forbes, who played Rufio. Basis for the 1945 movie of the same name, starring Claude Raines and Vivien Leigh. A unique copy of a scarce book!
