Condition: Hervorragend.

12mos. 97pp. + 96pp. An erotic novel featuring flagellation. The beginning of the text corresponds neatly with the lesbian flagellation novel, attributed to Edmond Dumoulin, originally published by A. Brancart at Amsterdam in 1889, and published in English as The Callipyges by Collectors Publications in 1967 (likely a reprint of the 1957 Pall Mall Press edition) and The Cult of Pain by Brandon House (these volumes were at hand and used for reference). However, this version runs shorter, and the original chapter divisions are not respected. It would appear that this is reworked from the original, preserving the characters (Mrs. Skin-Tear, Mrs. Flog, Mrs. Whipping, Lady X, Lily, Margaret, Morena, Jenny, the Lioness [Löwin] et al) and with many of the scenes retold or resequenced into a continuous narrative. (For example, the book ends on a somewhat tender note, describing Jenny's buttocks in a passage from the middle of Chapter 7, while the three hussars whose activities end the same chapter make their appearance earlier on in the episode). Ruten Girl continues where a scene from Ruten - Club (Chapter 4 of the original) breaks off, so despite the change in title, the volume numbers (I and II) are consistent with the story. Text printed in aniline purple ink (via spirit duplication) on one side of the page only. There are blank pages inserted at pages 20, 40, 60, and 80; there is no interruption or loss of text. Covers and title page state 'Manuskript by Studiengesellschaft'. Format of these books consistent with another work seen, attributed to 'Bibliophile Studiengesellschaft.' Text in German. Grey-green printed wraps, spines covered with cloth tape. Minor wear and fading to covers, mild age-toning to interiors. Very good.

Add to basketPaperback. Condition: new. Paperback. At last, the chemise flew over her head, and Lady Flashington remained almost naked, shivering with fright and horror, in the arms of a lustful valet, who was exploring every corner of her charms without his master thinking of stopping him. He pulled off her shoes, then her pearl-grey silk stockings, and when the noble lady was as naked as when she was born, and scarlet with shame, and almost dead with fright, John laid her across his knees, the backside uppermost, and with his muscular hand reddened the white globes, which jumped furiously at every fresh blow. The Callipyges recounts the libidinous exploits of Ladies Fairbottom, Lovebirch, Richbuttock, Splendidorb, Plentiful, and Finefleece, as these patrons of splendidly formed posterior form a clandestine spanking club in the heart of high-society London. Enlisting the help of their willing maids, each will demonstrate by way of lecture and practical experiment that manner in which one fond of whip and birch can attain utmost orgiastic joy. With a spot of afternoon tea between there exertions, our wantons discuss the virtues of the well reddened bottom. This little seen gem of Victorian erotica, attributed to Edmund Dumoulin, and published in English by the infamous Charles Carrington in 1902, is a fine example of flagellatory fiction. Laced with scenes of Lesbian tribadism and gamahuching, and written in a sumptuously graphic prose The Calliphyges will sure to titillate those a collector the genre. This item is printed on demand.
