BONUS: Laid-in original 9 1/4" by 11 1/4" photo. Very good plus book in very book dust jacket. Red cloth over boards; Everard's facsimile signature gilt-stamped on front panel as well as spine along with additional gilt lettering. Boards are clean, lettering is crisp. Small rub-throughs on the lower fore-edge corners. Very small bump on the upper right front fore-edge corner. Previous owner's information on front paste down. Back paste-down has a small stamp stating "The Monack Library, Book No. 4021." No other indication of ex-library. Shadow transfers to end-papers. Internally clean, no marks or tears. Snug text block. Dust jacket has shelf-wear scuffs overall. Lightly soiled. Spine is sunned. Edges at head and tail of jacket spine are creased and chipped. Shallow horizontal creasing on upper and lower edges along with several very small chips and closed vertical tears of mostly 1/8" or less. Upper edge of front panel has one 3/8" closed vertical tear to the left of spine. All fore-edge corners are rubbed. Not price clipped.
