Kyuzo Mifune (1883-1965) was one of the greatest exponents of the art of judo after only the founder Kano Jigoro. He is considered one of the greatest judo technicians ever. Later edition are seen for sale, but seldom does a first edition appear on the market. OCLC records twenty libraries worldwide holding the book, and ABPC did not show a single auction sale the past 30 years. Reprint editions are now selling for $500-600.
