This offering is an older copy of The True Story of Captain Scott at the South Pole written by Will Holwood (William Hollingsworth Wood) and illustrated by Parviz Sadighian. The book was published by Childrens Press in 1964 and appears to be a First American Edition but is not specifically stated as such. It is an ex-library copy and in good + condition with no dust jacket. The book is 6 1/8" by 8 3/4" and has 141 pages with an Index of Place Names, an Important Dates in Scott's Life section, a Table of Contents, and both three-color illustrations scattered throughout the book. For an ex-library copy, it's a really nice copy. Thank you!
