Condition: Gut. I 34 von S. 376-386. - Wikipedia: Robert J. Presentation copy: 'For Dannie and Joan, Here is the book I never intended to write, on a subject outside my field, about works in a language I can't read, by authors who a decade ago I didn't even know existed. Despite all that, it is, no doubt, the best book in English on the subject. Why? Because it is the only book in English on the subject. Whatever dubious claim Voices of Israel has to legitimacy, of one thing you can be sure, it comes to you with the genuine and abiding love of Joe and Ruth. August 1990.' He then references pages in the text that feature Abse. New Orleans address on front pastedown endpaper. Joseph Cohen 1926 2014 was a Tulane University professor and administrator who built a post-retirement career as an antiquarian bookdealer. Daniel Abse, CBE, FRSL (1923 2014) well respected Welsh and Jewish poet who worked as a doctor much of his life.
