A thorough report of the hearings on the charges made against Leon Trotsky in the Moscow Trials. The Moscow Trials were a series of show trials held by the Soviet Union between 1936 and 1938, under the orders of Joseph Stalin. The trials were predominantly directed towards members of the Communist Party. Leon Trotsky was a famous Russian revolutionary and Marxist politician. His additions to the Communist ideology are referred to as 'Trotskyism'. Written by The Preliminary Commission of Inquiry, notably John Dewey, Carleton Beals, Otto Reuhle, Benjamin Stolberg and Suzanne LaFollette. The half title is present. With a bookplate for one, 'Peter M. Scott', to the front paste-down. Rebound in quarter morocco. Externally, excellent with little shelf wear. Bookplate to the front paste-down.
