Cover splayed else near fine in good or better dust jacket with toning and soil on the spine, as well as a tear the length of the upper joitn and a small chip at the spine base. Briefly but nicely Inscribed ("con cordiale devozione") to noted author, journalist, scholar, and anti-Fascist Giuseppe Antonio Borgese on the first page. Betti also appears to have penciled his Rome address beneath.
