The boards are nice as shown, the lettering on the spine present. the dust jacket is NOT price clipped in decent condition. One of only 4,000 first edition copies of this landmark novel which features on various lists of the best 20th century novels in the English language. Initially a slow sale the book became an international bestseller and resonated well with WWII veterans as well as the Vietnam generation in the 1960s.
