This book looks very close to unread, and in wonderful condition both inside and out. The edges and spine ends are all in great condition. The cover is very bright & very clean. The pages are tight & bright & unmarked. There is a very mild and very small top page end stain mark. No other names. The jacket, with price, is In great condition. Very nice edges with only a touch of top edge wrinkle. Nice spine ends with very light shelf wear. Not a Remainder. Great Illustrations. 240 Pages. Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: good. First printing. Signed without inscription by the author on the title page beneath his printed name. Black hardcover with silver spine titles in dustjacket, first edition. "Local Author" and "Autographed Copy" stickers affixed to the front panel of the dustjacket. A good copy with some bending at the corners and spine tips and a spot of soil to the top of the front cover. The binding is solid, but with the rear hinge showing it's webbing at the last sheet of the index. A handful of minute stray pencil marks are scattered in the text. Unclipped jacket is also good with ruffling along the panel edges and some bumping to the spine panel tips. 548pp., notes, index, bibliography, and some black and white photos at center. Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Original 12" stereo long playing microgroove 33 1/3 rpm vinyl record. Cover illustration by Diane and Leo Dillon. Liner notes by Robert M. Scotto. A large but faint scratch over Track Two of Side Two "Yossarian Walks Through Rome," along with some other light wear from playing and handling, still a very good copy that should display only minor flaws in quality upon playback, in a very good cardboard sleeve with toning and bumping to the corners with most of the original shrink wrap remaining some of which has been torn away. Signed by Joseph Heller on the front cover. TC 1418. Features eight excerpts including "Yossarian: Clevinger's Trial," "Doc Deneeka," and "Snowden's Death.".

Original blue cloth, mint, in publisher's slipcase, mint as issued in original unopened shrinkwrap, original priced label on rear of shrinkwrap. Very scarce thus. This edition was limited to 750 numbered and signed copies with a new preface by Joseph Heller. It was issued to coincide with the publication of CLOSING TIME.
