Black hardcover with silver spine titles in dustjacket, first edition. "Local Author" and "Autographed Copy" stickers affixed to the front panel of the dustjacket. A good copy with some bending at the corners and spine tips and a spot of soil to the top of the front cover. The binding is solid, but with the rear hinge showing it's webbing at the last sheet of the index. A handful of minute stray pencil marks are scattered in the text. Unclipped jacket is also good with ruffling along the panel edges and some bumping to the spine panel tips. 548pp., notes, index, bibliography, and some black and white photos at center.
