Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Unpaginated. 27.5 x 22.5 cm. Limited edition, copy 485 of 500 on Papier D'Arches. Signed presentation copy in ink dated New York 21 October 1930. Roy was a French surrealist painter. He is known for his realistically painted compositions of ordinary objects in unexpected arrangements. Text in French, Spanish and English. Interior contents clean and fresh with the illustrations particularly bright. Free endpaper toned, backstrip with nicks. Illustrated stiff wraps. Very good. Signed by Author(s).
