The boards are flat, quite clean, a little wobbly and with worn edges. The end pages feature black and white adverts and are very lightly marked. There is a prize plate on the front paste down. The text block is profusely illustrated with black and white drawings, maps, figures and with a few colour plates. The pages are even and firmly attached to the boards. The cut edges foxed and age-toned and some of the pages have light foxing or a few marks. Good plus condition. Issued without jacket.
