Decorations rubbed at the edges of the front cover and much of the spine decoration rubbed away, modest wear and corners just worn through, rear cover and final 50 or so pages a bit bumped at the top corner, a very good copy; the text and plates are quite fresh and bright. Briefly Inscribed by Cabell on the front blank. A work in James Branch Cabell's "Biography of the Life of Manuel" series of novels, essays and poetry, which traces the fictional life of Dom Manuel, Count of Poictesme, and his descendants.
