Everybody loves a Circus Parade, right, but when was the last time you saw one. Apparently, there is one that takes place, a sort of revival show, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and this book tells its story in all its fabulous pageantry and color. Please find: The Great Circus Parade, by Herbert Clement & Dominique Jando, with photography by Tom Nebbia. This large, oblong hard cover book (11 ½ x 8 ½ inches, 111 pages) was published by Gareth Stevens Publishing of Milwaukee, dated 1989 and according to the coding on the copyright page, the First Edition/First Printing. The book is bound in pink cloth with white titles on the spine and protected by a colorful, pictorial dust jacket. The book is, as you would imagine, filled with colorful photographs of the Circus Parade and the goings-on around it. I found this book among my railroad books because the Circus Parade travels by railroad. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. There are some faint signs of edge wear to the dust jacket, nothing that even amounts to a tiny tear or chip. The hard covers are pristine, with some very slight shelf wear on the bottom edge. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and photos are bright and attractive throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…
