Henry Cooper Cliffe 1862 - 1939 was a British stage and screen actor a member of a distinguished family of English actors. He had an illustrious career on stage in classical roles. Late in life, he began appearing in silent films in the 1910s. Size is 140mm x 115mm. Condition is good. Light folding creases. Recipient name erased out. More images can be taken upon request. This copy belonged to the artist and author Gordon Cochrane Home, his name is on the inside of the front end-paper and there is a lengthy inscription "To Major Gordon Home" signed by the author Henry Smetham and dated 16 Dec 1927.
