Add to basketCondition: Near Fine. Jacket Condition: Very Good +. 1st Edition. Blue boards with gilt stamped titles to the spine, 255(1)pp with original unclipped dust jacket priced at 18s net. A near fine copy with clean boards, bright titles and firm sharp corners. Internally there is no name inscription or bookplate and the book appears unread noting a faint strip of toning/acid migration to the free endpapers where the dust jacket does not reach and a hint of spotting to the edges of the text block. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable, clear cover (not shown), has some toning to the spine and edges and a little dust staining and toning to the rear panel. Published in the US under the title Sweeny's Island, this is a very hard to find Christopher work. Rainford & Parris Books welcomes enquiries, so please do not hesitate to ask if you require further images or have any questions. All books are packaged with great care.
